Filter Type: Extreme The Extreme Filter is the perfect companion for travelling to 3rd world countries and other areas where radioactive material may interact with the groundwater.
Unique Features: 18/8 (304) Food Grade Stainless Steel, taste neutral, BPA-free plastic. Keeps water cooler than our plastic filter bottles. Filter protects you from exposure to bacteria, viruses, giardia, cryptosporidium etc in your drinking water. Also reduces the same amount of contaminants as the Regular Filter: chemicals, tastes, odours, heavy metals etc.

Size: 26.5cm high and 6.5cm wide at the base. 250 grams.
How to use: Hold the bottle with the base pointing towards the ground, suck up the straw. A few sucks will saturate the filter. Don't tip the bottle up to the sky or the filter will no longer be in the water. There is no need to count the litres, our filters will not expire, but the flow will go slow when it is time to change the filter. We are a Whole Life Filter so remove the same amount of contaminants at the end of the filter life as we do at the beginning.
Using the Extreme Filter with a stainless steel filter has a slightly reduced flow (approximately 5% more resistance than a Regular Filter). You will need to suck slightly harder to saturate the filter initially. This filter in the Stainless steel bottle is not suitable for children who cannot suck from a straw.

**Please note these Extreme Filter Stainless Steel Bottles now come with a Black filter on a Straw not a White Filter due to the difficulty manufacturing the older white style casing in the USA. The replacement filter for this bottle is here. Also if you do purchase the White casing filter (already on this website) you can remove your straw underneath to use the older style filter (keep your straw in a safe place). | FAQs | Q: How do I fill or use my stainless steel bottle? Q: What type of stainless steel are the bottles made from? A: The stainless steel used in our bottles is 18/18, #304 Food Grade stainless steel. Q: How do I know it is time to get a new filter? A: A general guideline is approximately one year of use. Once the filter becomes clogged enough that it is becoming difficult to use it is time to change the filter. The filters do not expire, and any water that passes through the filter is pure and filtered, but eventually they will clog up. Depending on the quality of the water you use that could be slightly less than 400 litres or as much as 1500 litres. |

Orders over $150 with free shipping will be sent Toll Tracked, unless you have a PO Box / Rural address, in which case it will be sent with Omni Parcel.
All deliveries will be sent tracked to your door.
