The size is 21.5cm long and the width is 4.2cm wide at the widest point.
The Extreme Filter is the perfect companion for travelling to 3rd World Countries and other areas where radioactive material may interact with the groundwater.
There is no need to count the litres, our filters will not expire, but the flow will go slower and slower when it is time to change the filter. Anything that comes through is safe. We remove the same amount of contaminants at the end of the filter life as we do at the beginning.
**Please note this is an Extreme Filter in a White Casing (our original style). But the current Extreme Stainless Bottles come with a Black filter on a stem. However you can unscrew your black stem and use this replacement filter. Please keep your black stem though as the White Casing filters are being phased out. In future all filters will be the small black ones on the stem. Any questions please let us know.
| FAQs | Q: What bottle does this filter fit? A: This is designed as the replacement filter for the stainless steel filter bottle. Q: What does BPA-free mean? A: A BPA-free product is one which does not contain the compound BPA or Bisphenol A. BPA is a compound used to make polycarbonate plastics (clear, shatter proof plastics) and epoxy resins (glues and coatings). This compound has the same properties and mimics the effects of the female hormone estrogen. Research has shown that BPA has a negative effect on fetal and infant brain development and behavior. Links have also been made between BPA consumption and obesity. A study by the Yale School of Medicine in 2008 found a connection between BPA and the interference with the brains cells related to memory, mood and learning. Many other studies have been undertaken and have shown links between BPA and cancer, thyroid dysfunction, reproductive issues and attention deficits. All of our products are made from BPA-free plastic. |

Our company is located in Auckland, New Zealand. All online orders are sent from our warehouse in Auckland, New Zealand and are sent out Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Orders over $150.00 are sent free of charge.
We have 2 shipping options for orders under $150:
- Australia Wide Omni Parcel (PO Boxes & Rural Only) - $11.95
- Australia Wide Toll Tracked (No PO Boxes / No Rural) - $11.95
Orders over $150 with free shipping will be sent Toll Tracked, unless you have a PO Box / Rural address, in which case it will be sent with Omni Parcel.
All deliveries will be sent tracked to your door.
Omni Parcel orders will be left without a signature.
